Uwe Kern - Chairman of the board A graduate in sociology and psychology, Uwe Kern (b. 1941) co-founded Germany's first outplacement consultancy with Dr Fritz Stoebe. Today, he is Chairman of SKP Dr. Stoebe, Kern & Partner HR Managementberatung AG.

Mr Kern started his professional life in advertising before moving into human resources, heading personnel departments in the food and beverage industry and capital goods sector. In this capacity, he gained first-hand experience with mergers, change processes and restructuring projects.

Turning potential into success: under this motto Uwe Kern has expanded the firm's consulting spectrum from outplacement to include recruitment and HR change management. He is dedicated to recognising potentials in people and organisations and putting these potentials to work. The result: positive and sustainable outcomes for all stakeholders.

In addition to his tasks as Chairman, Mr Kern is responsible for consultancy services in the area of HR change management.
