History
Dr. Fritz Stoebe wanted to claim it willingly - however at that time it did not exist: advice on job reorientation. When, at the age of 54, he lost his position as a business manager and had to find a new professional job, he recognised not only a pressing need but also his opportunity: he founded the first Outplacement Advice (Bureau) in Germany.
With the entry of Uwe Kern as partner in 1987, Dr. Stoebe, Kern und Partner Unternehmensberatung GmbH came into being. After years of building up the company, Dr. Stoebe left his position as adviser and part owner and retired in 1993. The business became a joint-stock company (AG) in 2001 and changed its name to SKP AG. In 2007 the SKP AG founded the transfer and placement company SPEQTRUM GmbH - a fully-owned subsidiary of the SKP AG. The product portfolio of the Specialist for Outplacement, Potential- and Change-Management is concentrated on guiding businesses and individuals holistically to the success.
SKP AG has its headquarter in Ahrensburg, Germany, and is represented by 8 local offices in that country. It is a member of the German National Union of Business Advisers (BDU), and founder of the international career network “CareerNet International Ltd” (CNI), London.
Philosophy
The German author and physicist Georg Christoph Lichtenberg (1742-1799) once wrote:
“I don’t know whether it will be better, if it will be otherwise. But it must be otherwise, if it should be better.”
Nothing is so permanent as change.
It is a particular challenge of changes, if they affect people personally.
People strive for continuity and security. For this reason personal changes go hand in hand with angst and insecurity.
Here SKP AG offers security, by guiding the change process to success on the basis of more than 30 years of experience in the field.
